Your Job
  • Proactively originate, manage and support the development of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects in Colombia.
  • Manage and support the process of securing land lease agreements or purchases, grid connection environmental licence and other permitting and licences for construction and operation of the projects.
  • Review relevant project documentation and external contracts
  • Develop and evaluate investment proposals, project risk assessments and submissions to authorities
  • Liaise with in-country partners, consultants and advisors
  • Manage and implement environmental and Social IFC standards, specifically with local community 
  • Manage the tender processes for services.
  • Report to management.
  • Create and monitor development budgets, timelines and programs
  • Report regarding project status, feasibility, project risks and budgets
  • Manage and keep project documentation.
  • Manage process with UPME, including but not limited to tax incentives, connection requests, project registration, Curve S.
Your profile
  • Proven track record in project development of large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects from green field until ready-to-build stage,
  • Experience, network and knowledge of the grid network operators, ANLA and or CARs and other relevant authorities and stakeholders in Colombia.
  • Experience of other energy technologies like wind, hydro, storage or gas is an advantage.
  • Affinity with technical and financial feasibility of projects
  • Master or bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in English is a must, mastery of additional languages is an advantage.
